Hi, I’m Bobbi!
I am a registered nurse, RYT 200 yoga teacher, and certified in pain reprocessing therapy. As a nurse, I have worked in the areas of home health, pediatrics, geriatrics, long-term care, mental health, and women’s health. I am passionate about helping people get out of chronic pain because I know what it feels like.
Through a combination of pain reprocessing therapy and yoga, I have been able to overcome a lifetime of chronic migraines, 3 years of debilitating chronic back pain, and repetitive stress injuries. I have now been able to get back to activities that I love including backpacking, trail running, and rock climbing.
Yoga is a great tool to reestablish a mind-body connection and was an important part of my recovery. In my yoga classes, I integrate principles of pain reprocessing therapy and customize them to your specific needs. One-on-one sessions can be a mix of yoga and coaching or only one.
Coaching is based on Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), a clinically proven method of treating chronic pain conditions. You can expect to learn about the neuroscience behind chronic pain and how pain reprocessing works and be led through mindfulness and brain training exercises specifically for your situation.
